1X - fits 1X/2X.  If you are on the larger end of 2X then go to the 2X

2X - fits 2X/3X.  If you are on the larger end of 3X and have very large arms, this may feel a tad fitted around the arm pit area.  

Lindy is wearing the 1X, but could easily wear the L/XL.  Be careful if you size down because the material is 100% rayon, so the sleeves are not stretchy and can be a tad snug if you have larger arms.
